Domino

(An AI assistant that forecasts a business’s cash and helps compare ways to handle a shortfall.)

Domino

Built over a weekend at Cal Hacks 13.0, Domino helps a business see where its cash is headed and what could throw it off course.

It checks financial records, builds a 13-week forecast, and traces the knock-on effects of a problem. A late customer payment might leave less cash for bills, delay hiring, or put a loan requirement at risk. You can ask “what if?” questions and compare possible fixes before choosing one.

Under the hood, the brain map connects data sources, agents, and their results; its animated links follow recorded activity. The forecast combines invoices, bills, payroll, and customer payment patterns to estimate when cash will arrive and leave. Separate forecasters test scenarios such as late payments or rising costs in parallel. AI agents explain findings and propose fixes, while deterministic code calculates the weekly balances in cents, giving the same result from the same inputs. Each proposed fix is tested against the forecast before a person decides whether to accept it.

The timeline shows how each choice changes the forecast. A live activity view and brain map let you follow the work behind it. A person reviews every proposed fix; Domino never moves money.

The demo uses simulated companies and finance tools, alongside a case study built from 2U’s public financial reports.
